If you haven't achieved anything by the age of 30. It's pretty much over.

Like most said first off where did we get this concept that material things or a job makes people happy. Its a lot of broke people that are happy as hell with no responsibilities or stress from a high demanding job. That McDonalds worker or ups driver may be frugal with their money and save to get what they want you never know what people vices are. Just focus on YOUR life OP that's what's wrong with the world today people always worried or downing the next man. Personally me I graduated with a Optical Engineering degree and I don't do anything related to my field piece of mind was worth less IMO so forget age money all that I care about health and relationships more than anything. Stay Up

Op is kinda right. Once you hit about 30 you can kinda predict how your career and life will branch out. People underestimate how much decisions in your 20s can effect you for the rest of your life. Lets say you never got a degree and wanna go back to school. Starting in your 30s means you will graduate around 35 and working entry level jobs till about 40. 10 years before you will see any real paper and thats not including paying any student loans or family and kids. Might be 50 plus before you get everything together. Almost retirement age. Sure its better than nothing but starting that cycle 10 years earlier in your 20s makes a huge difference. Unfortunately most people dont really start thinking that way until their in their 30s already cause when you are young they say you have all the time in the world..

Man, you can get a job at a bank and become an adviser in 2 year. fukk all that 10-15 year planning shyt.

She's also a 1 in a 1,000,000,000 story

But I'm not disagreeing with your general point, if you're 30 with NOTHING going for you, it will be tough, that's a fact. But if you're in law school at 30 with a good plan you're good

Okay something more realistic.

My aunt was a crackhead until her late 30s, early 40s. Like a real strung out crackhead. She cleaned herself up, went back to community college, got a scholarship to a 4 year school. Graduated. Now she works for the city. Doing well. Her son moved back in with her after she showed she was done with drugs, she pushed him into his books/sports, he got into college on a track scholarship. He graduating this spring. She wasted a good 20 years of her life on drugs but she turned it around and doing better than my mom :bryan: who never used her degree. Life is funny like that. It's not over until it's over.

Bust your ass, work hard and sacrifice the bullshyt you can do something with your life. But everyone wants the easy route.

People get jealous of those that go to Ivy League schools with cushy jobs but in high school and college they weren't partying and goofing off, they were locked in the library making a future for themselves, that's dem harsh realities most nikkas don't want to hear. I knew this nikka who was 34 years old when he STARTED medical school, didn't see him for years and now he's doing residency with a secure job for life. But was willing to sacrifice and work harder then 99% I know that bytch about their job

i think ppl need to stop putting a time limit on things and just enjoy life.....not everybody wanna work for a company for 45 years and get a lil retirement money

ive learn to enjoy relationships instead of chasing money.....but the funny thing is, once u figure that out...then the money magically start to roll in

Sorry but that's the truth. If by the time you're 30 and still a loser with no prospects, living at home you ain't gonna be shyt from now on. You hear people these days saying 30 is the new 20 :mjlol:. nah fakkit, 20 is the new 20 and will forever be. You wasted the best years of your life and now trying to rewrite the laws of life. Foh :russ:
good job exposing yourself as a poor dumb fakkit who doesn't realize the vast majority of people don't reach success until their 30s

:blacknerdlost:As I creep closer to 30, I feel closer to what OP is talking about. My mental aptitude and sheer talent for so many things means I should have been running my own computer repair shop, or doing coding for a living, or have 2-3 failed businesses by now....ANYTHING but what im doing.
It's ok though, my ass is on fire and I have more motivation to do what needs to be done so I can stunt on folks and eventually be apart of the
conversation of "Rich black entrepreneurs who can help save the community...but wont":lolbron:

:francis:Got a lot of work to do, and had to pass on going to college this fall semester because my money is fukked. I hang on, though, and next spring
my tax return combined with my fall-winter earnings should have me completely out of private debt:blessed:
