If you live in tourist city what advice would you give tourists to prevent them from annoying the locals.

Every time I go into the office I think about creating this thread.

London:

1. Walk up! Or walk on the inside of the pavement. If your milling along taking up the whole pavement, guaranteed ppl are bunched up behind you and is annoyed and pretty soon ppl are going to start pushing past you.

2. Stand on the right of escalators, we walk on the left. ESPECIALLY at rush hour.

3. Do not stop to take pics outside the tube station. You’re holding up traffic once again at rush hour. Chances are you’re going to get shoved out the way. Be self aware, don’t stand in the way, find a good spot to stop and look at your surroundings and guard your possessions.
4. Be aware of rush hour times and maybe don’t travel then. A it’s more expensive and B it’s more crowded. Save yourself some money and maybe it will be less crowded and better for pics if your travel after 10am and before 4pm, then again after 7pm.

Don't worry about the dusty ass locals, they got bigger problems to worry about than what you got going on. We eating good off your tourist dollars.. & Them little suitcases you got on the escalator aint stopping nothing, they just like to pick on people that look new. Half of them ain't never even been through the whole city.. they just hating cause you having your way out chyea.

Make sure you continue to bring the baddest women from your home country, and spend lots of money here so we can get these highway roads fixed and smooth. Peace and enjoy your vacation

Have your card, phone or ticket ready at the barrier. Nobody has time to wait while you pat your pockets to find your card to touch out at the tube station. You may think ppl are rude but you may be causing an inconvenience.
