Get my fat severance and apply for unemployment and chill for a few months :blessed:
This :noah:

Severance would cover me for like 3 months. Then file for unemployment. Then emergency fund will cover me for 3 months, but I'm building that up to 6 months. Plus, the wife works so I'd relax for at least a month and keep my mental and physical health on point :lawd:

Then get on my grind but luckily my industry has a lot of temp jobs so I think I'd be fine.

I still have my 2nd job as a per diem residential support staff, so i would pick up as much hrs as a per diem worker or just go to a full-time. Also would able to get another job in the human services field, they're always hiring. There's a couple of things i would try to do if was to lose my job 1. Take my vacation time and amount of sick time that we get, i believe it's 1/3 of your time built up and go buy a used minivan and become an independent courier 2. Start up a cleaning business.

We have a six month emergency fund.

May not even have to pull from that as we could live on one salary.

It would suck ass. But we wouldn’t be out in the streets.

If both my wife and I lost our jobs, we’d of course pull from the emergency fund.

Then I’d pull from my 401k as much as necessary to save the house.

Have a bunch of public health experience, so I'll be okay with working at a hospital right after. Also, I live at home again, so I don't really need to save much as it is. I could stretch my savings for a year, with this current circumstances, probably two.
