Im on the east coast and i medicate based on strains. My peoples are rasta and they put me on to the science of indica vs sativa. Right now i got some blueberry og for when i want to turn down, some blue dream for the wake and bake, and some shyt called vortex (i dont even know if this is an officially named strain yet) that puts me in a half meditative zone.

niiiiice. I remember blue dream from 2009. Man I really want to find this strain called Power Plant from 2009. The high was so it had its quarter round then disappeared. then there was Diamond Kush and Fire Kush, my boy from England came by and I took him to a dispensary, real nice place with shyt loads of jars and jugs of different strains, he decided he wanted the heaviest most expensive shyt, like the shyt they give cancer patients, needless to say, one minute we're taking hits getting ready to shoot pool, the next 3 hours went by and we never left.

but yea, its all about the medicinal zone you want. like I lived in vancouver and I was getting herb through a connect in the apartment building, real quality but I felt like a crack head calling him up and asking if he had some. plus you don't know if he's telling the truth about the strain and quality I got so spoil street transactions dont see right. at least with dispensaries they are reliable since their company is on the line. once you get into the socal culture, you're spoiled, because they'll break you down with the strain, farm, location, hybrid percentage etc. I dont want someone "telling me I got OG kush" from a corner, chances are he's lying. I get home and I can sense the high is a light indica.

Even FL is getting good strains... A few years ago it was only wack shyt out here... yet FL grows and supplies a lot of bud for the east coast. Now you can get pretty much everything ... but it's always only a few strains at a time.

of course not every strain comes from cali. thats obvious. but we are the mecca, meaning we get strains from EVERY WHERE and then we cross them ON TOP of that. we get ALL the strains because of our dispensary market. On top of that its the culture. Its like Hiphop. there's hiphop all over the world, but here in america we are spoiled because the artists live here, we dont have to wait for a tour, Waka prolly playing at the local club every 3 months. That is what weed is to cali. We have no shortage of any strain. we get them all at a steady flow....legally on top of that. You just walk into a dispensary and ask for the latest flordia kush and bam there it is.

Man I was looking for it last year when I went back for Xmas, couldnt find it. I went to 3 different dispensaries, they told me it was an old strain, I even asked my boy to check for it in venice but nada, they said they were out. If you see it around let me know where cause Imma be home for like 6-8 weeks.

Its not just the potentency, its 'just the right high" like a sweet spot for me. grapefruit haze was like that too. There's just some strains that go well with your personality/character/what you're looking for. Im not a big indica person because I create for my job, and so I need my mind to always be in deep thought mode, but at the same time not too deep to where I'm stuck, I need something that can keep me hyper, but not too hyper to where Im laughing at everything. Green Crack was kinda good for that, a little too hyper tho, I was in a conference talking waaaaay too much.

yup. im from hawaii. i've been to cali, and had medical shyt, had colorado/oregon shyt from friends and til this day the best shyt i ever had was some outdoor grown on maui in some volcanic soil

Im actually going to visit CO 3rd week of Dec. A lot of those CO folks are transplants from Norcal that fled the high cost of living back in the early 00s. now they have voting power so thats why it got legalized.

yea ive had it, its good shyt, the substance is gummy, like a hard play dough and black. hash is real big out here, the muslims bring it in from the west. herb out here is good too, not sure what it is, looks like cheese (which is lower mids in LA) but its too expensive for my blood, grams are like $50 out here, fukk that.
