I thought Ark was doing well on Steam. I don't remember the numbers though so I could be wrong.
I played it a bit and liked it a lot.

I don't think so, it was VERY popular at PAX and doing very well on steam as well.
Its on XB1. I thought it would be on PS4 as well.

I knew out the gate this game was trash, 1vs4 was a bad idea. Add the selection of monsters was way to small and the gameplay was more cat and mouse than action

I remember it went on sale for $8 on amazon like last November. I almost copped because of how cheap it was but last second changed my mind.
Game was the definition of media created hype that never connected with gamers.
shyt came out of nowhere and was suddenly hyped to the fukking moon by gaming sites but the consensus was always meh by gamers.

Yes. Xb1 and pc can play the early access version but it will launch on all 3 platforms when it's finished. If it ever is.
I've had my eye on it since it's got dinosaurs and I want to try the survival genre

i only paid $6 for it at Trade it.
This game was honestly fun for a few days. But then you saw how utterly flawed it was. Hunters were always at an advantage. You had to not know what you were doing in order to lose killing the monster. And the meta wasn't deep enough. Sure you had different abilities and skills for hunters/Monsters. But the core gameplay was running around endlessly in a circle on an arena like map until you trap and kill the monsters
