I think we are watching Melo grow as player this year, the talent was always there but Mike Woodson and the Knicks mentality have benefitted him greatly, he could've went ham and scored 50 points plus last night but he got doubled and passed out of it, also he showed his ability to score outside of shooting, even though his jumpshot was still wet. He is def a top 5 player this year, and the 2nd best in the East after Bron. I'm happy for his success.

If you watched the game, its impossible to conclude Melo was chucking and not helping his other teammates. He shot over 50% with most of his buckets playing with his back to the basket in midrange. If he wanted to, dude could've chucked his way to 50 easy. He only took 5 4th quarter shots....not to mention Hawks started shifting overloads to his side midway through the 3rd. Dude has been unconscious last 2 games.
