If you sleep with the AC higher than 68 degrees than I assume you’re a psychopath.

A house with 4200 sqft won’t get colder than 72 and my light bill last month was $355 :beli:
Your unit needs to be looked at probably

Check the tonnage (1 ton for every 600 square feet of space cooled max)

Got three levels and three units. Same amount of feet as you. Bill never over 300 and I charge my car almost daily

70 at night for me

I sleep with no AC on in the middle of the summer. Mine is on only when my girl is over. I hate the cold.

The upstairs unit is a 3.5 downstairs is 5 ton. If the upstairs unit was older that 5 years I would replace it but it’s too new and woks currently too well for me to want to replace it right now, it’s just inefficient. It’s been serviced recently too with a new inside coil, so it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.

I set my A/C at 76 most of the time. 75 when I'm cooking using the oven and 77 or 78 when I leave for work.

I use a fan as well and I have to wrap up in a sheet when it's on 76. I couldn't imagine anything lower than 74 :ohhh:

I've been keeping mine at 78...sometimes I'll set it to 77 if I'm feeling hot.
