The only thing I know of that can effect digital signals is jitter and that is only an issue with extra long cables...if your cables are 10 feet or so...there shouldn't be an issue in quality it will either work or it won't

I'd never pay more than 3-5 for a cable. The only discernible difference is the actual quality of the cable as in the thickness of the cord/connector. And if you're putting that shyt behind a tv, even that doesn't matter.
