Tell me this, name an industry, where whites are the owners, and blacks are the employees(which is like ALL of them), that you can't draw the same "parallels". Any job. The very worst they could do is kick a player off the team for him to decide if he wants to play for another football team for multimillions or not play football at all. A slave could end up tortured or killed.
They can't even stop athletes from kneeling because there was never any rule in place stating they have to kneel. All they can do atm is bytch about it. There are rules in place to protect players from their team's management, preventing them from being ridiculous. There was no such thing for slaves.
Slaves WISHED they could have been "fired" aka let go scotch free to do whatever they want
