The problem with this is that African Americans are too mixed and diverse, so Morris chestnut for example looks Ghanaian and also doesn't look Ghanaian at the same time

shyt I'm Ghanaian and on multiple occasions people thought I was Kenyan, these are Kenyan people. Makes me think I might have Kenyan tribe in my family tree

There's so much mixture going on in African Americans......Every person she named probably has a little bit of every ethnic group she named...

And let's not leave out the elephant in the room.

The average African-American is 20% European, so between the different mixes between African groups, Native Americans, and CACs, it's probably too hard to tell what tribes we'd come from.
