I live in NY and if I didn’t have obligations, I would have left a while ago. Plus the white people really squeezed the cache of NY out of it.

West coast is a bit odd. Not really my scene/pace/way of life

This isn’t a poll question, but just a question in general. If you suddenly came into millions of dollars, and wanted to move, would you choose NYC or LA?

I don’t even have to think twice, when I say that I’d move to LA. The women, weed & weather would be calling out to me, and there’s no way I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to live large in 75-80 degree weather year round.

Why would I get rich and then immediately move somewhere that damn near instantly begins to deflate my money?

Like getting a raise and then immediately upgrading your car/living arrangements.

To actually answer your question OP I would move to NYC. Way more to do than Los Angeles and the city is actually traversable whereas in Los Angeles it takes fukking two hours to travel 20 miles during rush-hour.
