Shouldn’t the push then be get more people an ID? To me, that’s the bigger thing.
But that's the thing. The administration is advocating for requiring an ID to vote yet intentionally making it more difficult to do so. Not everyone lives in the DMV where you have 5 different locations you could go to within a 10 mile radius for those types of services

People who support voter ID never want to discuss how laws in this country have attempted to put up barriers for non-white voters for 100 years. And they always discuss this by saying oh but everyone has to do the same thing. Just like "everyone" had to do the poll tax but it was only enforced for black people. Or "everyone" had to take a literacy test to vote but it was only applied to black people. So what will happen is that they will immediately make getting the ID harder, more expensive, more cumbersome, etc. And then when a white person forgets their ID or has an issue, they will be given an affidavit so they can still vote whereas the black person who forgot their ID will be told they can't vote.

I think most states make it relatively easy to vote btw. But when a federal government that lies about everything relating to elections wants to get involved with national IDs and other bullshyt you know it's a plot.

I also think everyone should work the polls at least once in your life to see how the process works. It's actually really well done, and when you work an election you realize how ridiculous people sound when they talk about rigged elections.
