You’re right, the Bible is not a science book, but modern science is very much purposely used to disprove biblical information as false or a primitive fairytale.

That's because some critics don't understand what the text is for even less than those who believe it to be the 'Word of G-d'​

What you call a theological message is also a historical, astronomical, astrological, philosophical, mathematical, and dietary information meant to optimize mind, body, and soul.

No, it isn't. The text was written because Hebrews in the 5th Century BCE believed that their entire civilization was going to become extinct. In order to preserve it, they gathered, organized, edited, and wrote as much of their cultural/theolgoical history as they could. That history extended back nearly 1,000 years. When they were freed from Babylon, they continued to write about the text and their experiences all the way until the 1st Century CE and beyond.​

It’s not ridiculous at all to illustrate the lengths “scientists” go through to disprove biblical information. You have to disprove previous information to replace it with new information. IE, the Earth being round is in direct opposition to a flat Earth between waters underneath a firmament, as stated in the Bible.

The Bible's 'creation' account is NOT a scientific theory/hypothesis so it cannot be disproved by science. The 'creation' account is actually a critique of all the surrounding civilizations' 'creation' accounts. That's why there are multiple 'accounts' throughout the text that each spotlight a different understanding of how they, 3,000 years ago, viewed their place in the world. Moses' parting of the Reed Sea in Exodus is just one example of a 'creation' account; the 'creation' of the Nation of Israel by separating the 'waters from the waters' just as in Genesis.

People attempting to criticize the text for NOT being a science book are basically trying to criticize a human being for NOT being a zebra.​

This is one take I don’t understand and I’ve seen multiple people make this statement. So u don’t believe they had the technology to FAKE the moon landing for a couple of minutes on tv but u believe they had the technology to ACTUALLY land on the moon???
