this is pretty much spot on... i got flabby and sick about 2 years ago... when i was kinda down and out... decided to turn it around quick... lost about 30 pounds in 2 months by just going for light jogs/walks twice a day for about an hour having 4 small meals... drinking only water and green tea... and alot of it... 8 glasses a day until your piss is clear.

Watch you diet, too. Use protein shakes as meal replacements. You'll feel very full and you'll get lots of nutrients without taking in too many calories.

I've never been a fan of protein shakes, just expensive meal replacements IMO unless you are trying to make some quick gains.

just eat healthy man...DO NOT cook in oil if you can avoid it. I barely use oil when I cook. I have had the same small bottle all year and its not even close to half way through.

Baked potatoes or sweet potatoes
skinless chicken breasts
brown rice with no butter or salt added
beans
WATER
Skim Milk
Eggs
Turkey Bacon instead of regular bacon...you will get used to it.
fruits (but limit because of sugar)

If you are going to make sandwiches make sure you fill that shyt up with greens...lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos, onions and anything else you can think of. Don't add salt to your sandwich, chances are the meat you have on there will be packed with sodium. I would get shredded cheese also to evenly distribute a pinch instead of adding slice after slice on it.

I just listed basically all I eat these days :yeshrug:

Fat and muscle are different.

The fat you have won't turn into muscle, you have to lose it and build muscle. Weightlifting is a great fat burner (as is cardio stuff like sprints) and helps you build muscle.

Losing weights is all about calories in and calories out. Consume less calories and burn more by exercising. Weights help you in burning mostly fat and building up muscle. If you just diet, you'll lose weights but a lot of it will be muscle and water, not all fat.
