Find an Indian IT company to work for. They pay better and hire based on qualifications. My manager is black (first I've ever seen) Dude who worked with me when i first started before he quit was black (he was software admin). They just hired a network guy he's black too. These companies can't hire Indians cuz most Indians need hb1 visas.

White guys are used to preferential hiring practices so they are not on top of their shyt so they rarely get hired.

It's Indians and blacks that are being hired. The pay is real legit and all they expect is for you to handle your responsibilities (they have higher standards)

No dignity crushing tap dancing and grinning needed
:blessed:

My brehs feast.

The real murricans are so damn mad and scared shytless

Indian companies pay more? First time I ever heard that. Those companies are mostly full of people on visas and win bids by submitting lowball RFPs in my experience.
Also these companies aren't really doing that well right now since they are so heavily leveraged with off shoring contracts which are becoming less popular
Layoffs in Indian IT firms may continue for 1-2 yrs, say experts

If it's working for you then that's wzup but that ain't been my experience at all.

Hasn't been my experience either. They'll call me up telling me about some job and then ask me to fill out some info in an email and confirm the rate. Then I don't hear from them again.

Exact same thing, hate to say it but I don't take Indian recruiters seriously because it seem like they just send emails to who ever and collect your information. I also think they target other Indians specifically. My first name is the same as the "Al Capone of India/Pakistan" so maybe they think I'm indian iono. At this point I just ask them what the salary/rate is so I can gauge the market then ignore them once they tell me

Some recruiters are fake...they try to scam people by getting all your info and hit ur credit a few years later. Never give them your address, references and last 4 digits of SS

Ok. Maybe I should've explained better. I'm not talking about Indian recruiters hitting u up for jobs in North Dakota and being annoying with random ass jobs they send out. They are retards spamming everyone in hopes of finding someone to fill a role.
Recruiters are middle men.

I'm talking about Indian IT firms that actually takeover IT services for major companies. If you get higher up in your career there are lucrative opportunities with them that american firms will try hard to deny you.

I don't work for an IT company(Healthcare) but this is very much true where I am at and at some of the Indian owned companies my friends/former co-workers it is the same. Now I'm not saying that every Indian owned company(IT or not) is the same, just saying this advice isn't absolute.

Look for places that refuse to outsource to these companies. That's the real place to work.
