If you were her manager would you write her up, fire her or just give her a verbal warning?

There’s like a location based setting in ADP to stop people from clocking in on their phone. I believe my job set it to Alaska for a minute to stop people from clocking in on their phone. So if you wanted to clock in on your phone you had to be located in Alaska.

And I would of fired her with cause.

I hate clock watchers man.I Had one at my last job and I’m so glad I don’t have to deal with that shyt anymore. If you don’t want me to clock in on the phone why give me the app??

I'm pretty sure any competent company would disable that ability foreseeing the potential for abuse. We use paylocity where I work which has an app but it's set up that you can only clock in at specific stations in the pharmacy. You can log on and do other stuff but not punch.
