If you were to put Steph Curry on the 2001 Sixers would they still make the finals?

Would Steph be able to take that bum ass Sixers team to the finals?

Ppl talk about Curry not holding up physically but he wouldnt have to take it to the rack 20+ plus times like AI had to so thats a moot point

Exactly he's going to light you up with his Jay

Iverson never shot a high %....that was his mcp peak year and why don't you tell us what he averaged for the series?

again.........steph wouldn't have survived that series..................you can dance around it but it's still true

Nobody gets fouled more than Curry and gets no calls, nobody

??????

Lebron James says Hi & Bye.....

first 2 years the cavs played warriors in finals, iggy was beating the shyt out of lebron on every play. I like iggy, think he plays fundamentally sound defense, good instincts, has size and wingspan to make bron earn buckets.....but when all that didn't work......he'd just mug him and get away with it.......all series long..no whistle

Brehs did you watch the video?

Curry had a dude laying on his back while standing up:upsetfavre:

Not one whistle blown. RJ straight gave Steph a hip flexor, not one call :aicmon:

Curry would average 30 now if they just called the game regular

Who cares about a fg%, just do what you gotta do to help your team win. A.I. carried the offensive load on his 165 lb frame and got his team to the promised
land
It's pretty pointless to guess what Curry or any player "could have" done in a different situation than what they experienced, but the hard core facts are he hasn't carried a team with the lack of firepower like Iverson's Sixers
I'm a Bron stan, but I have only really been following ball this decade. What was Iverson's individual game performance like? :lupe:

the space jams, 50 foot shots stuff is great..and playing in backcourt with another historically great shooter is great .....now wake up and put steph on that philly team in that era and tell me with a straight face how those skills would translate

Yeah, because the best shooter the league has ever seen (who also has insane handles, AND scores at the rim) wouldn't have skills that translate.

Get all the way the fu*k outta here.....

:aicmon:

Some of ya'll just say sh*t.....Steph isn't a product of any system, the Dubs system is built around him. And as far as physicality, Steph gets bumped, pushed, pulled, fouled on damn near every trip down the floor with or without the ball, viciously, constantly.

I have no idea how Steph would have done in AI's position. But the levels that folks go to discredit Steph and then fix they mouths to call themselves basketball fans/historians/ex-players/etc is dreadful. Ya'll should be ashamed of yourselves.

Exactly

This is what these fools don't get

The warriors can spread the floor with all those shooters

Curry is getting open looks because of his teammates and transition

He's not doing all that by himself when he's getting doubled and pressed full court in that era

They may have been mediocre, but they weren't Sixers bad. Still had Klay, David Lee was still getting buckets back then....Sixers next best scorers were Raja Bell, Aaron McKie and Eric Snow:scust:
This is proof that yall nikkaz don't really watch the games like that.

Lee went down after game 1 of the 1st round in which they loss:francis: Lee was a career loser prior playing with Curry.

Since when having a back court of Dikembe Mutombo and Tyrone Hill with the best Premitur defender in Eric snow at the time and the best player to come off the bench is having a horrible team. The sixers literally took all the awards that year.

iverson shot bad % his entire career,

thanks for that stat

31 ppg is a great scoring average
So you don't think Curry could average 31ppg on 34% shooting?

What defense is Iverson facing that Curry wouldn't be able to solve?

Man said Raja Bell was one of his best scorers:dahell:

Raja only played 5 games during the season, played 8 minutes a game in 15 playoff games averaging 2ppg :gucci:

All their awards were DEFENSIVE related. They were the NBA version of the Ravens....We talking about their horrible OFFENSE man:comeon:
WTF are you talking about back court of Dikembe Mutombo and Tyrone Hill?:why:
"Premitur" defender? ...Were you on drugs typing this?:wtf:

we've seen chef get put in the backseat at times & fortunate for him he has a few other all-stars to weather those moments

but placed in a situation where he's the only true offensive threat & he had to create his own offense i see a struggle

all the clean looks are taken away & now everything is contested & in traffic

it's not saying chef isn't great but it is recognizing ai is one of the few one man offenses we've seen capable of single handedly making a team a contender

chef came into the league & his gawddamn rookie squad had more offensive talent than that squad chuck took to the finals jahahahahaa

he was the offense point blank
