as a finance person, i would never think about finances again. No investments, no schemes. I got all the money i would ever need. Cash!
I would just put in a savings acct. Set up an auto transfer as an allowance to myself to cover monthly expenses. And then just pursue any recreational activities that happen to peak my interest for the rest of my life. Like courtside tickets NBA. Trips to exotic places. VIP treatment, luxury resorts.
No super crazy expenditures though, i still wouldn't buy a mega yacht. But i might rent one for a vacation.
instead of charity to random causes. I would be a champion for my family. I feel like i would be rich enough to make alot of them rich, by employing them or patronizing their services. The way an NBA owner makes the players millionaires. I would just do that with family. Pay some cousin six figures to prepare 3 meals a day. Another 6 to maintain landscaping, Another to keep the house clean. pay for lil cousins braces or tutoring etc. No investments into get rich schemes though, not thinking about finance. I would only pay for a service to them or from them.
Even with all this, i suspect i would only spend about 5 million dollars before i die. So they can donate the rest of it if they want then.
