Take the payout, and rollover it over into other investment vehicles after a few years. I'd focus on protecting my money first then focus on growing my wealth for me and my ppl.


You should only take the lump sum if you have a decent plan to protect your wealth or legitimately don't give a fukk.

How can one go broke off $568M cash?

There have been several lottery winners that eventually went broke after winning. I don't know any personally with that much but I have an old friend that got a 450k inheritance. He quit his job at the post office when he got the money. It took him just 2 years to party it all away. He didn't pay his taxes so he eventually loss his house too. He currently lives with a roommate and borrows money from family.
