I think what’s problematic is when we discuss numbers in percentages it can be misleading without context. In a country of 330 million people, if we are taking about 1% from the 99% we are still talking 3.3 million people that won’t recover. Saying 3.3 million people isn’t concerning is problematic.99.watever% recovery rate this isnt the American plagues of the 16th century or some shyt. That's how it's been touted.
