People talk about debt being the devil... avoid it at all costs!... fukk all that :mjlol: Get your FICO up, these companies are literally paying to have customers who can pay their bills on time.

When you shop online, are you going through the card's shopping portal? If they don't have a shopping portal, you can go through Mypoints, or ebates, or Mr. rebates and double dip. You get the card points, plus the rebate. If you care about airline miles, all the major airline and hotel chains have shopping portals too.

And you can put the cashback in a high yield savings, and earn interest on top of it.

:lolbron:

A lot of people do manufactured spending, whch is buying a bunch of visa gift cards just to get the points or cashback, then using or liquidating the cards, or buying a bunch of gold $1 coins, then depositing the coins into your checking to pay off the card. But you can't do it too often, because they catch on, and flag you. You used to be able to liquidate the gift cards on Amazon payments, but I don't think you can do that anymore.

I think it's the BoA rewards card. The catch is you have to keep a minimum balance across accounts and its pretty high. But yea there are a lot of options out there that you prob dont need to keep a balance on
