No because I'm not going to date someone older than my mom but if he was my age working at McD's, paying for school I wouldn't mind. It's a win for me because I like double big macs :smugbiden:

You have to be under 24. Am i right?

I can live with being criticized by an internet lame.

The purpose of IT is to get enough experience to have your own business, which is where the money is. Overcharging for simple tasks. Providing a shortcut for people who dont want to think. Everyone needs a trade. Get one fakkit.

I agree engineering is the truth, and I actually love my job. I will say this though, it is a good field for some, but it's not this golden ticket that some people claim it is. Where ibwork, we have people that get paid hourly making less than 36k a year. You also have some making 50 and up but it's not that many. The idea though is to branch out and move on to better places tho from what I understand.

I agree with pretty much everything stated here...the thing with IT is you don't want to be forever working on a damn contract for someone else where you get probably 40 percent of what the company is paying for the position. I think that a lot of IT positions can be pretty challenging. You just got to find the right one. Contrary to what the OP said though you can get decent money even if you don't have certs as long as you know your shyt. And I ALWAYS get side money cause it's always some street folks who don't have a clue what is wrong with their computer. Hell I can get an easy 100 just for 30 minutes removing viruses. :mjpls:

computer engineering/science is not for everyone but it surely is for me.

I only work 2 hrs and get paid for 8 :win:

Programming is a skill once developed you will be glad you did.
Most of the advanced programmers don't even have degrees in our company but you know they got them certs :myman:

So true,,,,

It's this talented developer my company that's only 21 and has got to be making at least 150k...

No degree whatsoever...

They brought him to revamp a system that was used by a west coast company that was involved in the merger.....

Dude walks around like he is a pharoah

And I aint even mad at him

:dwillhuh: you a private beisbol coach b?

Yea I have my own baseball academy. Give private instruction/high speed video/strength and conditioning

Last month we grossed 13k, we have 106 kids in our program all paying between 100-189 a month for membership.

The amount of money parents spend on their kids for athletics these days is astounding. I never had half the training these kids have and I made it to the Pros. I always imagine if i had this available to me i would be in the BIGS.
