Is there a dude in IT on the Coli that makes less than 6 figures? Just asking. :mjpls:

Yeah, I am. $35k/yr.

But I'm 23, live at home, pay my car note and cell bill and still have enough to invest in a mutual fund to pay for lawl school.

entry level jerb but I'm not complaining, when I started in 2011 I had no certifications whatsoever. Within 6 months I had my A+ and Network+ certifications.

not sure what that has to do with my statement about management, but I wish you the best breh.. try to find a company willing to give you that up north salary while still living in the South. A lot more remote gigs out there nowadays so it's possible

I'm trying to keep those expenses down as much as I can. Thats the key. Makes no sense to reach 6 figures only to then go from having no car note to a $800 car note and $700 rent to $2400 monthly rent. thats just hustlin backwards :scusthov:

Unless you are doing low-level programming like Embedded/network drivers etc. Companies usually dont look for just that or even list it, since most languages have build in libraries that take care alot of the work for you.:ohlawd:

But having the skills never hurt.

 about to pay off the last 6G's on my car and keep it until the wheels fall off. I know so many people who let their car get below $10g and then go out and buy a new one.

The balance on my loan is $5,201.05. I'm trying to have it paid off by May and like you said, ride until the wheels fall off.

I never want to have a car payment again.....this is my first car I'm paying for and I hate it.

I think i'll still invest into my mutual fund during law school and sit on it and buy my first car post-grad in cash. Though it won't be an Audi, BMW, Mercedes or typical 1st year associate car, I can roll around knowing I ain't paying shyt for it and my money can go elsewhere.
