I’m torn in this one. It isn’t as dramatic as women being classified as married “single moms.” However I do know the oldschool way of doing things was the man just needed to protect and make the money and when it comes to handling the kids they were hands off.
I think in 2023 that model has been updated because we see the result of what that old model brings, a lot of piece of shyt kids and unhappy women. So the new model has to involve the father being more mentally and emotionally active.
In 2023 what makes you stand out as a good partner to your women is having good communication skills, and having empathy, which are not something a lot of men can do nowadays. Most men just leave it to the mom for these tasks.
Women have access to money and safety in 2023 without men, but they’ve never had access to the type of men I described above. If you can provide, protect, lead, and exude empathy and communication skills in 2023 you’re a 10 as a man. It takes work to put those two together because making money very much involves shutting g the emotions off. Being a protector requires more a$$hole tendencies. So it’s a balance.
