I live in Bushwick...pretty much 90% of my neighborhood is hispanic (cuban, puerto rican, dominican, mexican, etc).
I grew up in a predominantly white suburb (Pittsburgh woohoo!), and while I don't have any problems with white people (my roommates who are some of my best friends are white) I honestly never want to live in a predominantly white city/town/neighborhood ever again.
I enjoy diversity and being around people I can relate to, not being a token and trying to establish relationships with people that I can't relate to and don't care about me. That's like trying to establish a relationship with a brick wall.

I go to the hood every weekend to get s haircut. Y yesterday I was talking to one of the OGs who looked out for us when I was a youngin, and he was telling me how everything is all fukked up out there now. Youngsters robbin' the old folks. Shootin' each other. Snitchin' on each other. If that's what the hood got to offer, I don't want shyt to do with it.
