It is, but honestly, I think that's the point. NYC don't care about it's own residents anymore. It's obvious Bloomberg has done all he could to make sure that the poor, middle class, native NY'ers, black, and spanish folks get flushed (priced) out of the city. Between the Hasids that own and manage these buildings and the landlords, they want people with money coming in. And when those buildings do pop up, the police presence just seems to increase. That's cause they're protecting their investments...they could give less of a shyt about all of these transplants (I've actually overheard some NYPD talk about how much they hated hipsters before). If they did, the cops would actually care when their iProducts and bikes get stolen.

I live like 10 minutes outside of San Fran. In reality the entire suburb is only like 30% Asian, but my particular neighborhood is pretty much all Asian. My entire building is filled with Asians... shyt, every building on my street is filled with Asians
