This is lowkey a problem in the black community. I know 2 dudes who did this.

One is my cousin. We call him Tree because he's about 6'11. He was so good in basketball that he was going toe-to-toe with Clark Kellogg. He literally played ball with him. I was so shocked when I heard that he turned down a college scholarship in order to take care of his pregnant gf. shyt was status.

The other was my sister's friend who turned down scholarships to Florida State and I think Alabama in order to take care of his girlfriend.
