The reviews on Amazon indicate that this thing doesn't really work. The complaints indicate that if the force generated by the tool cannot force the clogging mass down the drain then the water and its debris will be forced up through the holes on the underside of the rim of the toilet seat. Unfortunately those holes lead to the tank so you basically end up pushing sh*tty water into your tank.

The Johnny Jolter has better reviews.
