I thought that same thing when I read that post.. Underpowered and unreliable? I have an ls1 nearing 200k that says different.
I don't think I've eve heard anyone refer to American cars as underpowered...

I used to have a '03 Accord, lowered on some Tein Coilovers and KYB gas shocks, but the rest was stock and I would make an ass outta nikkas in base model Chargers, Magnums, and 'Maros..If you was pushin anything but an SS, GT or an RT...patna you wasnt gonna beat me on a str8 away, and on a street with curves nikka? Forget about it.
Most of the real muscle cars I see are driven by white boys anyway. I have yet to see a black dude in that new 5.0 'Stang or a Z71 'Maro.

Had a 2007 Altima SL 3.5. 
Probably the 2nd best overall car I've ever owned. I never should have gotten rid of it.

Racing an Accord though...
Bruh a base model Charger, Challenger, or 'Maro cant beat a V6 Accord, or a 2.5L Altima and it aint even gon see a 3.5L Altima. Those cars are too heavy and the engines are too weak. Point blank period.
I see you in the A, you must never have went to the drag races on Moreland? Those Asian boys from Clayco would bring out the ricers and they used to eat nikkas in those Chargers and Chevys up at the races.

Im just stating facts homie...and I am not a fan of ricers myself, I love GM all day every day. The only reason I even had the Accord was because I caught it for the low at the Manhiem auction and I wanted a car to save gas. At that time I had a '01 DTS Caddy and a '83 Chevy Shortbed w/ a 383 crate motor in it.
All I am saying is base model American cars run off the prestige of the top of the line models, cuz its a huuuge difference between a base model Charger and a SRT Charger. And usually nikkas push the base model joints.

I can respect that..'cuz that how its supposed to be. Most N1ggas in my town only concerned with the rims, interior and paint, and I hate that cuz a n1gga like me could care less about that. I only care about that man under the hood.
Some nikkas here do push the real deal muscle joints, but it aint that many. Most n1ggas here with the bread to buy a new SRT would probably just cop a foreign whip. But for n1ggas like me who love that US muscle, Ima just have to wait until that 5.0 'Stang comes down in price cuz I aint pushin no V6 American whip. Ill push a V6 foreign whip tho
My whole point was to cut the fat from the bone, cuz a lot of these cats out here riding in a whip with a 3800 Series II GM motor or 2.7L/3.5L Dodge motor under the hood think they in a muscle car, when cant nothing be further from the truth.
