I used to think 4 was the wave, but once you get to the level where you're fighting some real fighters every time out, two is fine. Now if you starch someone in four rounds then go ahead and take another, but I have no problem with these guys taking 2 a year.

The real problem with boxing now (147lb I'm looking at you) is that those 2 fights are trash matchups

Yea i could have went into deeper context but you said what i left out; don't fight two bums a year like you on a near PPV level as a fighter. Wilder is somebody who could probably be a 2 times a year fighter but homie has been would have already had his 2nd fight this year a few weeks ago had Povetkin not cheated and be on to his 3rd fight to finish out the year. Homie wants to be a fighting champion, i love it.

Yea when you're in the ring top 10 of your division you can't fight 4 times a year (Unless you're #BeterBeast), but dudes who are fighting one hard fight, then one jobber fight--can't be doing this shyt every year.

I have a strong feeling this will come to bite Thurman in the ass, I have a feeling he's going to have tremendous ring rust, and those 8oz punches are gonna really shock him that's what you get when you misuse what I invent

If I'm a heavyweight contender or just hold one or two of the belts, I'm fighting three times to try to unify and keep my name in the streets.

Anything from cruser all the way down to welter, if I'm a champ or elite, I'm fighting 3 times a year to stay on HBO/Showtime and make my money.

Anything under 147 though, I gotta fight 4 to 5 times a year.

I mean, if I'm "Chocolatito" or somebody like that, I'd fight at least every 3 months to make sure the public don't forget about me, which they will the smaller you are.
