Alot of it is fleeting. It isn't real dominance, respect, admiration, or fear...

Even if the assumption we'll go with is that women flock to these characteristics, most men aren't acting out to bag women. You can attract plenty of women across all personalities and backgrounds without any of these things, because women aren't typically searching out "the most feared man"...."the most respected man"..."the most dominant man"..."the most admired man"...what do these terms even mean? What do they mean to women?

This can be part of the package for women but aren't the essential traits women look for. On the flip, men, and I'll speak bluntly as most of us here are black men---->brothers put a whole lot of emphasis on domination, fear, admiration, and/or respect, especially brothers who are perpetuating the tough guy or street guy image. And that's the first glaring misstep, because in that lifestyle nowhere near everyone is viewed as dominant, feared, respected, or admired...

Nowhere even close to every guy, but too many brothers who adopt this image, whether real or perceived, operate on the belief that portraying themselves a certain way brings these characteristics. It isn't real...

But other men will tell you how much of a real nikka you are. Other men will tell you how fly you are. nikkas not posting money phones to attract women (and women of a certain age and/or maturity can sense whether a brother has paper anyway whether he holding knots or not), they doing it so other brothers view them as paper chasers. It's all for male validation, which wouldn't be the worst thing in the world in and of itself, except the same men we seeking approval from, often are fronting and frauding the same...

I appreciate the disagreements, yall know I ain't the poster who needs everybody to agree with me. This is a healthy discourse regardless what side you on though!
I think you're looking at this from the perspective of a grown man when talking about how different types of dudes may get women. But in your formative years when your world is much smaller and who your most attractive female peers are gravitating towards, and it happens to be an environment where it's street nikkas, some young boys are gonna get into that.

Black men do held/hold those behaviors to a high standard because many felt that was the behavioral pattern necessary to survive. When you show great ability to survive in in your environment, it's not only same-sex peers who are going to acknowledge that.

I see what you're saying but I just think the adoration, real or false, from other men is a case of trees in the larger forest.

Don’t care about tints or loud music playing when driving. The older I get I do find it weird to sit in your car and let the bass bump early in the morning and late at night, lack of respect for your neighbors but what can you do.

That’s a thread I been meaning to make for a while now…

How the chase for validation from women…..drives a lot of young men into street life/vagabondism….
please make this thread and also add how these squared nikkas, instead of talking to squared females, they wanna talk to hood/street chicks like they can relate :mjlol:

Some being the key word. Nothing is the same for everyone, so sure, some brothers get into the streets looking for women approval. This is a minority of those types though...

Most dudes who jump into that lane young do it because they are imitating some older guy they admire---->male approval. That was the story for me and a handful of guys I remember. And I mentioned this years back on here, but I had trouble bagging the girls I wanted. I was a 15-year old weed dealer, 16-year old gangbanger, lean and crack dealer, went up three days after my 17th. Two lil fine chicks I wanted bad rejected me, expressly because I was on that route--->rarely in school, fukking with gangs and drugs. That shyt broke me up, I told that story on here before lol...

So these types of women exist as teenagers too. The notion that most black women are looking for street dudes has to die, it isn't true...

I agree that many young brothers "feel" like they have to portray a certain way, but that starts with the imaging and influence of men around them. You grow up and realize you didn't need to do alot of things...

I'm not going to go back and forth on your own experience but I just look at things from a perspective of primal nature being the skeleton and cultivation/social constructs being the body that supports it, with superficial approval from other males falling under that.

I agree to disagree...I guess that's appropriate phrasing for this? Lol
