I remember when I was working my ass off around the clock during college, people would tell me to hit the gym, because I was slim. I always told them, I didn't have time. Consequently, I had plenty of disposable income, because I was always working.

When school ended, and all I did was work, I substitued school time for for working out and sleeping/eating, and put on 15lbs and have hovered there ever since.

I'm not very tall (5'8), so I never wanted to be one of those stocky dudes that looked like he was trying to overcompensate, so I work on definition moreso than the "tip-top" shape, but I will say it helps to not be frail or flabby. If you ain't got a job or anything taking up your time, then yeah, you have more time to work on your body or your mind. You need some kind of results for that free time.

But to make a straight contribution to the thread:

Broke? Nope. Had some money since I started working.
Ugly? Nope. got a good mix of my mother and fathers genes. Momma was a cheerleader and father is a handsome devil too.
:flabbynsick:? Nope. It's not even in my genes to get like that. I'm slim by design. Gotta work to keep the tone up though!

Everyone and anyone should try very hard to be in top physical condition by not eating too much and by not drinking too much, and by eating and drinking the right things (highly nutritious foods and drinks).

Praise be allah for granting us the opportunity to build our body into a shining temple as he intended

Kettlebells are the most versatile tool for working out. Cheap too! And eating healthy is cheaper than eating unhealthy. Not saying I'm where I want to be, but there really aint no excuse.
