There's more ways to make money now than ever before in history.

If you're an adult and can't find any ways to make money and provide for yourself then that's on you.

People come from different circumstances but if you are a reasonably intelligent person with the will to be successful and independent, you'll figure it out.

I think a lot of y'all got a misplaced idea of "broke".

You sound naive as fukk. There’s 40m people in poverty. Give these people livable wages and watch how the rest of society collapses.

You’re being propped up on the backs of the poor and you don’t even realize it. America as currently designed is not for everyone to eat.

Society would not collapse by providing living wages to the poor and working class. You do realize most of the working poor work for the richest multinational corporations. Think about it, the lowest paid workers work at places like McDonald’s, Macy’s, Walmart, Amazon etc. These companies could easily afford to pay a living wage... and somehow these corporations and billionaires don’t even pay taxes. Where you can’t even sell $600 worth of shyt on eBay without the IRS coming for their cut at the end of the year.

Structural unemployment is what these corporations use to keep wages low. If there are always tens of thousands of broke desperate unemployed and underemployed people who are willing to work for shyt wages with no bennies, they can keep wages down.

Just a few decades ago, American companies paid their employees enough money to live comfortably and most importantly, paid them enough money to buy the very products they produced through their own labor. Look at the big ass crumbling houses in Detroit. Assembly line workers bought those houses.

Remember two years ago when we learned that society would crumble without the working class... they called them “essential workers”.

The problem now is that all essential working class jobs have been turned into revolving door dead end jobs. Stripped of all dignity. Killing unions has killed living wages and worker rights.

Capitalism without any moral compass is about maximizing profits by any means necessary. That’s why damn near everything’s a scam in America. Healthcare, higher education, insurance, you name it.

My immediate response:
"This person doesn't understand how the world works"
This statement only makes sense if you consider working outside the law as a legitimate money making venture. Or if you have abnormal moral standards.

Perceptive. Yes, the guy in question doesn't differentiate between how money is made as long as its made and isn't averse to coloring in outside the lines as long as it fits his design. Thing is that isn't what he was speaking of as the concepts were more along the way the net makes it way easier than before to cake up as there are far more opportunities (as well as distractions). If you choose not to pursue them then thats on you, says he.

Now I'm not saying you should @GoFlipAPack instead of working for @Another Man but he definitely made me think about it a different way because a lot of people not making any ends spend their days online, playing games, slamming ass and pretty much anything else but make money. If they took that energy and used it constructively instead they could change their lifestyle but the discomfort zone for most is way too familiar and seductive.

That and the people around them generally tend not to be business minded as Fif spoke of here:

Network = Net worth because those who are connected can link you in when it comes to elevation whereas those who are all about the chill and not really doing nothing will gladly assist you as you drift, as aimless as them.

This is all so true. People en masse seem to be waking up to this reality but its coming at a time when automation is looming and a lot of these unskilled jobs will be over in a few anyway. The way everything is structured though and the way these mega companies do their employees dirty is so foul though. Add in the fact you get taxed on the tax of your taxes and very few people are actually taught the true nature of getting paid its no wonder things are as they are.

The entire financial system as it is is so corrupt down to its very inception and is the root cause of many of lifes problems. And yet those who print it hold the whole world in their grip thanks to peoples investment in their concept.

I agree with the bolded. Outside if that, America has NEVER been a place where everyone eats. The lowest number of people in poverty I can find is around 25m in around 1975.

So no, we’ve never experienced an America that works for everyone. “Society collasping” is hyperbole but if you suddenly gave 40m+ people buying power then the costs of everything everywhere would skyrocket and we’d be in a supply shock for years. If you have people in your life that lived through the great depression then ask them what it was like because that is what this country would look like.

There’s no guarantee that we could ever scale supply up to meet true demand unless we restructured the economy to something closer to China. This economy is propped up on us letting the poor suffer.

I hate it when people lack perspective of anything other than their own narrow view of the world. Thecoli is king of that shyt.

There's lots of able minded and able bodied people who end up getting dealt shyt circumstances beyond their control. While clowns like Donald trump have their whole lives provided for them and can do nothing but fall up.
