If you've ever used kettlebells you understand how much of a different workout it is. You feeling it in muscles you're not used to moving on a consistent basis.

I gym 4-5 times a week for basically 15 years.. and varying up your training regime is some of the best things you can do to keep motivated and not bored. Kettlebells are a great way to change up the routine

A lot calisthenics YouTubers be lifting on the side but getting on camera telling dudes they can get 3D delts from upside down push ups

They definetly do both. You won't get brolic doing bodyweight exercises for 30 minutes.

I think the current kettlebell trend is a fad that got a major push from Joe Rogan after he started preaching the "kettlebells = functional strength" thing.
this is up there with my theory that I think he helped Trump win by bashing Hillary in front of millions. A bunch of little shyt like that added up to boost that a$$hole.

Breh I'm talking about constantly trying to increase your max in the compound lifts. shyt gets boring fast and takes too long between sets (up to 6-7 minutes if you're going for a PR). Not to mention taxing on your CNS. I always end up switching to a hypertrophy based program after like 16 weeks max :manny:

If you're not tryna be the Hulk and lift the whole fukking gym, just say that. If you're weak, just say that. If your recovery sucks and you're not Wolverine, just say that.

Don't make it seem like strength-based programs aren't sustainable long-term, they are, they just don't fit what you're tryna do or are too much for you. :ufdup:

I never got this idea of if needing to be one or another I do a mixture of both and of course concentrate on my main goals for the time. Right now cardio is my only goal.
