If you're finished with HS, Why did you OR Why did you NOT go to college?

I originally didn't want to go to college. But I'm pretty intelligent and I've always done well in school. It would have been a waste not to TRY it. I almost didn't go though, because I fell off the face of the earth after my mom passed. I almost said fukk everything, but pulled myself back together in time. I'm enjoying myself now though. It's a good environment, seeing a bunch of young (and mature) people trying to get ahead in life. It's nice. That and the social experience as a whole, makes college great. I'm on Scholarship too.

What is the norm though? Is everyone with a degree caking it? NO!!! Is everyone without a degree doing bad? NO!!! So what exactly is the norm and what is the "truth"? 1% percent of the population controls all the wealth, how many of that one percent have degrees?

Why is it hard to admit you have a better chance of making more with a degree than without?

Nikkas like you is whats wrong not encouraging others to be better and validating giving up early in life by validating your opinions with stories of 1 in a million ppl who did it without a degree.

Leads to self destruction... The hold out for better or "I want a job in my field" is priceless. I still wish I would have gotten the experience though.

College isn't about finding a job, its about learning.

I went to school and got a job but I realized I cant work at a job my whole life. Now im building my own thing, If I never went to college I would would probably be farther along but the background knowledge it gave me is priceless. I could never go back to school now so i'm happy I got it under my belt. It doesn't matter what field you're in, most people would rather do business with a college grad.
