This is not a hard concept. It's not a "general impression". The team that won championships both a long time ago and recently is greater than the team that won ONLY in the past or ONLY recently. Does it really take this post right here for you to understand that?

Back on the original topic.. yes TA&M is better this year and last. They've had a great QB. They're historically not great at all. Many of these college jobs sway coaches due to their "prestige" so to speak. If both jobs offered the same salaries, I have no doubt that he would skip out to go to USC. According to your logic, a coach would easily go to Baylor over Texas just because they've been better very recently.
