I think because their population is so small, they can control certain sectors because its less competition between them, and because they have a culture that is specific to them, it kind of forces them to work with each other, so they will pass contracts onto each other. If they were larger, I don't think it would be the same as far as percentage rates on who will have a monopoly on those industries, as they would be in more different areas, where the economy isn't as strong. That means more competition, and less strength for them.
