Yup I'm adding my wife to my plan this week. I'll end up saving over 100/mo after switching. Couldn't be happier.
Just be sure T-Mobile coverage is good in your area before switching

Assuming you fam is cool with you jumping on their plan its definitely doable. The person's plan your jumping on needs to be in the store with you to authorize it though.

i've been with GOAT Mobile since 2004 
So I officially made the switch to Tmoible and my GAWD i couldn't be happier. I was previously a customer on ATT (due to their excellent phone selection) and with my supposed "discounts" my average monthly bill came out to 130/month. This was with 400 mintues talk and text as well as 5 gigs High speed data a month. Being that i travel, i would routinely get hit with roaming text and phone charges, causing the bill to hit 180/mo at times...
Just made the switch to T-mobile today. I also purchased the Nexus 5 (Excellent phone btw) and so far i'm getting outrageous LTE speeds, faster than anything i've ever gotten on ATT.
Last speedtest i got 27MB down and 15MB up!
Thats fukking faster than my home internet!
And my phone deal is even sweeter:
Unlimited talk, text, HIGH SPEED DATA for 70/mo.
No more caps and overage charges from ATT...
Free INTERNATIONAL DATA and INTERNATIONAL TEXTING when roaming.
20 cents/min flat rate for calls when roaming internationally...
I also plan to switch my wife over to the Nexus 5 from her Iphone 5 (She hates iOS7 apparently) for just $50 more?

i have a sprint iphone 4s, my 2 year agreement with sprint ends in january
so i can take my phone and move it to tmobile right?

I don't think so because if i recall Sprint doesn't use the GSM signals. But again, you may need to take your phone into the Tmobile store and ask them. If all else fails, you can just buy a new iphone and pay it over 2 years. Easily the best deal in upgrading your phone in wireless.

Ok I will. I hate to bombard you with questions.. This is for anybody on a family plan.. Can the primary account holder look through your messages and see who you've called/texted? I live a wild life brehs.. I donn't even get paper bills.. can't have anybody looking through my stuff.
I hate T mobile. They have the worst coverage ever. I was on the outskirts of town Sat. no signal at all. All my friends had signals.
And I lost my upgrade credit when they went to jump

You live in Houston right? I get fantastic 4g coverage all over town? What part of town are you at?
