There are limits to everything, I have friends that take that shyt to the extreme, out to dinner with like three four people, and one of them is just buried in his phone at 11 pm at night looking at FB or something. I get as many texts as anyone, and I stay on them, but I get a text, I return it, I move on, not spend 15 min checking my email or facebook, or whatever. It's a really inconsiderate, annoying, impolite habit, put your fukking phone away.

One friend in particular, probably my closest friend, is really bad, to be fair he has real estate, plus other businesses to check on, but most of the time he's on facebook anyway. Sending an email or a text takes like 1-2 min. And, if you have to work, work, but don't have people over, or invite people out, and then stare at your phone, 'I have to get this done'. Fine, but I don't need to be here. Or he's the first dude like 'i need to use your computer' as soon as he gets in your house. Man, go home.

On another note. I have incorporated the "pile your cell phones in a stack" game when going out with friends now. First person to grab it pays the bill. It gets ridiculous when no one is talking and everyone is head first into their phones looking at absolutely nothing.

:ehh: not a bad rule..

a house I lived at shortly had a rule if we went out, phones stayed at home

Co-sign. It's this extreme that I think most of us are referring to. My phone is probably the most rampant amongst the group, but I find a way to answer quick/discrete and stay within the conversation. The worst is when you're telling a story/explaining something, and it's to a bunch of nodding foreheads who are faced down in their phones. Hence why I made that game/rule when we go out now. The great part is I haven't had to pay a bill yet :stylin: which is funny because I have 2 cells (1 work provided.)

My closest friend is like yours, but he damn sure ain't busy with work, and his GF is always busy at school, so I don't know what the hell he's always doing on it. and :smh:

I know. I see that a lot. theyre letting the phone and facebook be a virtual replacement for real interaction. people cant handle talking to one another without looking at some small glowing screen with some unimportant texts on them every few minutes.

but thats how you get fukked up in real life, not looking around you :mjpls:
