I wear both glasses and contacts. Contacts when I'm out and about and glasses when I'm at home. Started wearing glasses around the 4th grade and wore them exclusively until the 8th grade. From the 8th grade until I went into the military at 22 I wore contacts only. Since I left the service I wear both. I look better wearing my contacts.

Contacts all the way. I own 2 pairs of glasses, but I rarely ever wear them.

I almost always get compliments when I wear glasses, but probably because I only wear them like 5 times a year, so most people don't even know I wear glasses.

For those who have issues with their contacts drying out

These have never failed me. I started out wearing these, and have tried other extended wear contacts, but they don't compare. I've worn these for weeks straight without having issues with them drying out.

They're kind of costly though (about $60 for a box of 6). You'll probably get tired of paying that much, especially if your eyes need different powers.

I used to always throw mine away after 30 days, but I've been too lazy to go back to the eye doctor since my last prescription expired, so I've been wearing the same pair for over a year now and they still feel like new.

OMG! NOOOOO! That's dangerous. You could get eye parasites and other infections. Google it. I would link the video, but it grosses me out.

I read about it, but I'm not watching a video about it.:whoa:

The articles I read were about people not cleaning their contacts or cleaning them with tap water. I read about one chick who kept hers in for 6 months without cleaning them. The longest I've gone without taking mine out was 3 weeks. I don't play those games. I don't even soak mine in the same case twice.

The way I worded it did make it seem like I haven't taken them out in a year. I take them out and clean them at least once a week even if its just to rinse them and put them right back in.
