Hmmm, that's an interesting point. The emotions of love and hate are both coming from a similar place of passion, so what you said about secretly loving the very thing you hate is very true. The things we're most passionately against, are often the same things we secretly engage in(kind of like people are two sides to the very same coin) or that we are weak in. Makes sense for why some of these very racist white men have secret black children (not just Strom Thurmond but there's been other cases of this as well), or some of these very outspoken BW that portray this image of hating whites, somehow rationalize dating WM. In any case, I agree, people do need to just date who they want(although for some people I'm guessing part of the reason they're so angry is because they feel like they can't date who they really would like to).
