I've never heard of Azealia banks and have only recently heard of Iggy. She has a point about rappers.
I honestly don't understand why we continue to hold rappers to this high standard and expect them to be defenders of the black race. Most do everything in their power to exploit their own people anyway. We should consider rappers traitors and sellout from the degrading material they put forth alone.
Why would the average rapper criticize the ferguson and eric gardener case when most of they're songs are celebrating the destruction of black life anyway?
And we definitely shouldn't be expecting them to speak on behalf of black issues. They're bought and paid for slaves. They make a mockery of themselves and our people daily and the sooner we ostracize them the better
