That is quite possibly one of the worst posts I have seen somewhere. Yes, two players averaging the same doesn't make them equal, but to players averaging the same with the same eFG% or FG% does. And for all this "setting up" of others by Gay, Deng has averaged more assists over his career, with no Marc Gasol to feed. Deng is one of the most underrated players in the L.
Would you compare one Allen Iverson's 26 ppg to Joe Johnson's?
I'll help you out: AI's fg % was lower than Joe's. So who was the better player in those respective years?
better yet:
Paul Pierce vs Joe Johnson in 2006 2007
Both averaged 25 ppg
Joe had the better shooting percentage
You'd pick Joe Johnson over PP THAT YEAR?
, with no Marc Gasol to feed. Deng is one of the most underrated players in the L.
Luol isnt better than either one of those guys
shots been off this year but hes still scoring the same. That tells you alot and how much he does off his athletic ability. Andre was lebron-lite last year with the assist and rebounds and i felt he played better defense than Deng last year. All these nikkas can score 20 and make no difference in a game. Them quiet points stop them from being number 1 options. Batum wants that number 4 spot

, he didn't want to play without him. Gay's game may be more aesthetically pleasing, but there is no basketball purist who would take Gay over Deng. Matter of fact, if Memphis right now tried to trade Gay for Deng, my money's on Chicago rejecting that trade.
