IGN 37 Big games coming to PC 2016

Uh....nah man. The problem with consoles....and this isn't even a shot, it's just an observation....but in order to mass produce consoles they have to lock down the hardware years in advance.

So they're running on something that was new 2-3 years ago. I could buy a graphics card a year ago and it'll still outperform a next gen console for the duration of it's life.

I have no idea where the myth started that PC dudes gotta upgrade often. That's if they're on some nerd shyt and want to max out every game. You could run....let's say "The Witcher 3"....on a graphics card from a couple years ago, not even with maxed out settings, and it'll still look better than the console version.

And these mass produced consoles generally last year's longer than an untouched pc

why do you require PC users to run everything on ultra when your garbage console cant even run shyt on low settings ? Why cant people have PCs that also run games on low settings? you arent comparing apples to apples

That has nothing to do with what I said.
You're acting like a game has to be set to Ultra on a PC to look comparable to a console. Which is because a console couldn't even run a game on Ultra in the first place.

I specifically said "that's if you're on some nerd shyt trying to max out every game".

You could run shyt on High with a card from a year or two ago and still blow away a PS4 or a XBOX1.

Why? Because again, if....let's say PS5....comes out in 2017, and I buy a graphics card the exact same day....the PS5's hardware would've been picked out around late 2015, if not earlier. Because again, they have to lock those things down before they send out dev kits and mass produce the console.

So it's impossible for a console to ever catch up with a PC. I don't get why that's so hard for some of you to understand. If you want to present the advantages of owning a console, but performance isn't one of them.

Lastly I'm at "consoles last longer". This ain't the 90's. This last gen especially was bricking left and right, both Sony and MS.

I dunno where you got this bizarre idea that every PC gamer is some super egg head nerd blowing $5000 on a PC so they can jerk off to everything set to UItra.

There is guys like that but they're basically the 1%. You can be an extremely casual PC gamer, cop a graphics card from 2-3 years ago, and still beabout the graphics on consoles. The bar for graphics on consoles is extremely low. Especially last gen to this gen. The average PC gamer ain't trying to Ultra every game, the fukk?

Yeah, most PC heads on this board aren't like me. I go all out. I love tech. There's like 4 of us with the highest of the high on this board. The rest of the coli PC crew have mid-range shyt (which you're right, still gives you better graphics than the consoles).

I dunno how many brehs have a 970 on here. $350 for a gpu that gives you better graphics than the consoles at 1080p is nice. You can make a pretty good rig for about a thousand, all components included

I just like to have really good graphics with nothing turned down, 60fps always, and a minimum of 1440p. But, like I said, I'm the minority.
