A lot of people don't really have depression but sadness.
Sadness = theirs reasons why you feel like shyt and for the most part hard to resolve otherwise said person wouldn't feel so low.
Depression = chemical imbalance and you take the right anti depressant after who knows how many you had to experiment to find the right one.

I don't think multiple personalities (dissociative identity) is all that real mainly because there are very few proven cases of them and most have been years ago when psychiatry was new.

There's also one called dissociative fugue which I don't think is real. It's when a person just ups and leaves their life and shows up somewhere else. Then they return with no memory of what happened when they were gone. I call it the "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" disorder.
