I’m not a fan of the word.
I might verbally say it 3 times a month.
Sometimes the word has to be said to describe a person or action. It’s unfortunate but it is what it is. A male ratchet is basically that word.
I’ve never heard my father or mother say it. Most of my family growing up never said it. Many Belizeans equate it to calling a Garifuna a Carrib. Straight fighting words.
My Wife is Miami-Dade county through and through. Has a bachelors and masters but still uses the word. I have theface every time she uses it.

It’s a river and they named a whole Nation after itI left it behind, fukk I look like Juelzing about the spelling so I can continue to pretend like I'm not basically calling other Black people subhuman.
no thanks

At this point in the game I've divided black folk into 2 groups: those who use the word and those who don't.
As soon as that word comes out of a black person's mouth a barrier goes up in my mind. I can't fully embrace or trust any black person who uses that word.
Words are extremely important and that word is the #1 indicator of what TYPE of black person im dealing with.
I've noticed that a large portion of black people who use the word use it because they have a subconscious DISDAIN for other black people and the word "n1gga" best describes black people to them. (Look at rappers for example....lots of rappers are damn near KKKLANSMEN themselves in how they view black people)
The only way out of that word is gaining something called "knowledge of self"...or basically gaining a high sense of PRIDE in being black.
If you're black and don't use that word or have removed it from your language I trust you more than a black person who uses it because I know you have knowledge of self.
I feel more of a kinship with black people who view that word as disgusting/ degrading and don't use it.
Again, I personally can't trust black people who use the word.
The more I see a black person say or type that word the more I assume he/she doesn't think too fondly of black people.
Your words speak loudly.
"

It's a part of many older black peoples daily language. I've seen many older relatives use it, the word is going away anytime soon and realistically won't. I'm not defending it really just explaining it's not realistic to think the word is going away in our lifetime. And how does degenerate behavior from adults make it any better?
All facts my guyIt's a disgusting primitive term that has zero professional qualities or values about it.
Yes, you will be judged for using it.
It just let's me know the sort of person you are. Immature people who refuse to display growth use it.
All other terms of endearment have come and gone but this particular one is still alive and kicking..
It is because the powers that be need Black people to remain viewing themselves as N words..it helps keep people trapped in a certain debilitating mindset.
The thing is the media is the main reason non black people say the n word the way they do nowadays (endearment). What I'm trying to say is actual black people have been saying the n word amongst themselves for centuries. I have older relatives (70 plus) born and raised in Jamaica that literally never left the country that say the n word all the time. And their older relatives were saying it in the 1800s. Its a word embedded amongst black people (especially those who were enslaved). My point is its going to take a an actual strong effort to stop many black people from saying the word. All facts my guy
Ill never forget a random YouTube comment I read years ago.
It was basically a guy who was on the verge of getting into the industry as a rapper.
He said that the non-black higher ups pushed him to put the Nword into his music even tho he didn't use the word.
There's no doubt in my mind that sellout black people started using the word heavily in mainstream movies & music because they were incentivied by the people who control mainstream media.
The NWORD itself is a psyop .
Like you said, they need black people viewing themselves as that degrading word.
That's when I feel where people come from when they say "Not everyone older is an elder"I know multiple older black people who said the n word continously![]()

To make it worse it's never used as "endearing" when they said itThat's when I feel where people come from when they say "Not everyone older is an elder"
. It's a losing battle with some folks...
