Blaming illegal immigrants is wack. This is about the death of middle class jobs, specifically in manufacturing. There was a time when a man could not go to college, get a nice union job (with Benefits) at the plant, marry a chick, raise a family and buy a house. Those days are largely over as manufacturing has died off. Sure some jobs still exist but overall it's not the safety net it once was for millions of men and women.

Nothing is stopping you from getting a basic ass hourly job. Certainly not immigrants. Back breaking farm work is not a "basic ass hourly job" btw, not in this country. You can make more at Walmart or Amazon. than at a gas station.

If there's an impact of immigration on black people it's found in construction IMO. Not in regular ass jobs that anyone can get if you can pass a drug test.

Tribalism. Non AA immigrants looking at AAs as 'akatas' and AAs looking at non AA immigrants as 'african booty scratchers'. Then each side will pretend its the other side being dismissive. Both groups looking down on each other and getting mad hostile. My negative energy be towards STRICTLY cacs and non blacks who pander to WS.

Naw folks would rather confine themselves into this "us against the world" mentality when theres power in number and being on code as a whole. Competing with ourselves while pig skins are laughing at the disarray and confusion they inflicted onto the diaspora.

There seriously could be a whole thread on the article alone. So much to deconstruct right there and it really solidifies what allot of ADOS have been saying. Realise Mississippi has one of the largest concentration of blacks in the US particularly ADOS...wow.

In what world is working in banking at GS a basic ass hourly job? What is your problem...


I work at a financial firm right now, and know people who worked at GS. Those are largely salary jobs that require a degree. If you want to argue about allowing undocumented children to go to college for free (in republican ass Texas) make a thread about it. THIS thread is about basic hourly wage jobs that illegal immigrants get. You know, like working at a gas station, or fast food, or Walmart, or Amazon chain supply jobs. All of which are full of black people. Hence my point that the jobs referenced in the tweet are not gated for black people.

I'm in Michigan. There are still a decent amount of auto jobs here, despite the decline of manufacturing. When I get my hair cut I often talk with guys who work in the plants or are engineers at auto companies. You know the story I keep hearing? Black women are slowly taking over auto jobs in Detroit. You know why? Because black men aren't passing the drug tests. That's just one city, I'm not gonna use that to say the same is happening elsewhere. But black female employment is on the rise faster than black male employment. Why? It's not illegal immigration...
