"King poetic. Too much flavor,I'm major
Atlanta ain't Brave-r,I'll pull a number like a pager"

"When I attack, there ain't an army that could strike back
So I react never calmly on a hype track"

"Back in '83 I was an MC sparkin'
But I was too scared to grab the mics in the parks and
Kick my little raps cause I thought nikka wouldn't understand

And now in every jam I'm the fukkin' man
I rap in front of more nikkas than in the slave ships
I used to watch "CHiPs", now I load Glock clips"

"Peoples are petro, dramatic automatic .44 I let blow
And back down po-po when I'm vexed so

My pen taps the paper then my brain's blank
I see dark streets, hustling brothers who keep the same rank
Pumping for something, some'll prosper, plus some fail
Judges hanging nikkas, uncorrect bails for direct sales
My intellect prevails from a hanging cross with nails

I reinforce the frail, with lyrics that's real"

"The brutalizer, crew de-sizer, accelerator
The type of nikka who be pissing in your elevator"

"I used to wake up every morning, see my crew on the block
Every day's a different plan that had us running from cops
If it wasn't hanging out in front of cocaine spots
We was at the candy factory, breaking the locks
"

"When I was young, at this I used to do my thing hard
Robbing foreigners, take their wallets, their jewels, and rip their green cards
Dipped to the projects flashing my quick cash and
Got my first piece of ass smoking blunts with hash
"

"Sometimes I sit back with a Buddha sack
Mind's in another world thinking how can we exist through the facts
Written in school text books, bibles, et cetera
fukk a school lecture, the lies get me vexed
"

It ain't hard to tell that he was spitting nice lines :jawalrus:

Deep like the Shining, sparkle like a diamond

Delete stress like Motrin, then extend strong
I drink Moet with Medusa, give her shotguns in hell

School a fool well, you feel it like Braille, it ain't hard to tell
I kick a skill like Shaquille holds a pill

I freak beats, slam it like Iron Sheik
Jam like a Tec with correct techniques

I leave 'em froze like her-on in your nose

And groovy but smoother than moves by Villanova

Packing like a Rasta in the weed spot
You really think this is lyrically nice? Really? You dont think I could find more lyrically nice bars in one verse off of Reasonable Doubt? :comeon:

Honestly holmes, this is some extremely weak writing. Extremely weak. Even for the time period.

Yes, Pac is the GOAT. But that has nothing to do with his lyrical dexterity. :skip: Rather the way he makes a listener connect with his music. But I'm glad you can see plainly that even lyrically Pac is better than naS. 3000 is in my top 5, he is easily lyrically better than both Pac and naS, its not even worth debating. And he was better in '94 too. I will say you are one of the few honest naS stans I have ever come across to admit that Pac is lyrically better.

Ya his goat is Pac I believe

Yes, but the list of who is lyrically better than naS, especially illmatic era naS, is long and extensive. I mean just listen to IWW, he is so much better at writing on IWW its almost embarrassing.

It's a east coast masterpiece, not a hip hop masterpiece. A regional classic if you will.
