My favorite Donald Goines books are anything with Kenyatta like Death List...Swamp Man was my sh*t because of the way dude got revenge.....Black mans burden white mans justice was good.....The way ol boy made dude eat the melted Snicker bar out of that fags ass was Beyond Scared Straight worthy

But after reading Pimp, thats what got me into Donald Goines and urban books.

That old school slang might throw him off but in my case thats what made it so interesting to me. Hearing them talking about "scratch" and "pulling their coat" had me like :dwillhuh: but I couldn't put it down....
