TBH if I would have been able to get along with my mom more...I would not have moved out at 19.

I would have probably had almost 80K stacked before the age of 25 with options all over.

39K saved and never having to pay rent at age 32 is kinda low though, but at least you are debt free.

i left home when i was 18 to 23 for college

moved back home for 6 years and moved out

i lost my job cause the company CEO was fukking with money so i moved back home for a while

now i'm like i should move back to the the guest house now and i don't have to pay $1300 a month in rent.

which i will decide in july depending on the outcome of my job and the re-organization moves they making

i would love for a lot of these people to move to california, new york city, DMV area talking that nonsense and see if u can survive

i could move across the street and pay 1,000 a month for a basement apartment, would i then be cool by coli standards.

im saying tho, its a perk for who? not me. i prolly knocked down more jawns in my parents' crib than i did in my own spot.

its like dude said a few posts up; if your house isnt crowded and your folks are cool, then there really is no reason to move out unless youre starting a family or moving to another city or some chit. i never lacked freedom. like never. if anything, i have more leeway at my folks' crib than i did with apartment-living. that chit is more restrictive for me actually. i didnt even bother taking my real stereo when i moved out. i just left it at the house for whoever to enjoy and took my boom-box instead. STR8 WATERING DOWN MY LIFE IS WHAT I DID. no disrespect to the boom-box.

the only perk i had with my own spot was that i had jawns sleeping over. and even then, i couldve did the same at my folks crib if there was a bathroom downstairs. and chit, this might come off as ignant the way im saying it, but if one of my baby-moms had nowhere to go, my folks would gladly take them in as long as she paid her way. No matter how much you feel like your parents are making you carry your own weight, you are not, they will allow you to miss rent for two months, they will buy groceries and do the stuff that you would normally have to do on your own..
